Three Wins for Three Divisions

Winter raised its head once more in the hills and while our teams met some tough opposition we came up with solid wins across the three divisions.

Division One played seventh played a determined seventh placed Mount Pleasant at home but were able to achieve two wins and a draw. Christine drew with John Webb, Malcolm won by four over Luke West and Bob won an arm wrestle over Bo Hambly by 2 shots.  They travel to Lobethal next week to play top of the ladder leaders in a match that could move Division One into the four.

Division Two had a good win against Mt Pleasant, Chris Rowe had a battle on his hands but was able to hold on to win by a shot against Nolene.  Bill Robertson went down by a solitary shot to Tom Woodforde.  Bill Fairley was well supported to win by 16 shots over Graeme Sloane. Hahndorf have moved into fourth position on the ladder. They will next week meet Lobethal 1 at Lobethal.

Division Three showed why they sit atop the ladder with a solid win against Mt Pleasant at home. Tali Button defeated Ronald Parker by 18. Ron Bateman  fought hard but eventually went down by 7 to David Sandland, while Tom Hennesey asserted his dominance early with a 36 shot win over John Phillips.
