Division two met top side Gumeracha at Gumeracha and came within one shot of a win.  With two rinks complete and Gumeracha two shots ahead, Bill Robertson’s rink were two down with two ends to play.
A score of two shots  brought the overall score to within two shots with the final end to play. Possibly holding two shots when the skippers changed over there seemed to be lengthy debate as to whether it was one or two.  Gumeracha skipper and Bill didn’t change the head with their first bowl and after Bill played his last the debate continued.  Finally after some time the result was only one shot to Bill’s rink and our team lost by one shot.

Division one travelled to Woodside to meet a strong third placed side.  Out-bowled throughout the day, Christine Keller’s rink got the closest going down by three shots.
