Not the cycling, but just as competitive

As the Tour Down Under made its way to Willunga Division One and Two made the trip over to Meadows. Division Three met Lenswood at Hahndorf.

Division One played played a determined Meadows at Meadows and recorded two wins and one loss picking up 12 points. Christine fought a tough battle but was downed by Garth Saunders by nine shots. Malcolm won by 12 over Daryl Stanton and Bob won an close one over Heath Raymond by five. Hahndorf currently sit sixth on the ladder.

Division Two had a good win against Meadows also picking up 12 points. Chris Rowe had a good win over Robert Edwards by 12 shots,  Bill Robertson’s rink had a solid 17 shot win over over Jan Corbell and Ray Rattray started strong but eventually went down by a solitary shot to William Klaebsch. Hahndorf are in seventh position on the ladder.

Division Three played a tough game at home but couldn’t overcome Lenswood.  Ron Bateman was the only winning Hahndorf Skipper and defeated Paul Friend by nine shots. Paul Williams sparred with Warren Murdoch eventually going down by four shots while Tom Hennessey was defeated by six shots by a determined Dianne Green.
