Division One met third placed Gumeracha and following last week’s one shot loss to top placed Mt Barker went down in a nail biting finish by two shots.  The lead changed hands throughout the day with Bob Edward’s rink holding an early advantage only to go down by three shots.  Malcolm Keller’s rink swapped shots with his counterpart and won by the solitary shot.  Christine Keller’s rink never got in front but were never far behind and scored two shots on the final end to finish a creditable draw.

Next week Division One meets fourth placed Uraidla at home so third time lucky – a win and at home?

Division Two fared better at Gumeracha and won by twenty seven shots.  Ron Bateman had an eighteen shot win with Bill Robertson close behind with a seventeen shot win.  Tom Hennessey had a hard tussle and went down by eight shots.

The win kept the team in fourth place and meet fifth place Uraidla at home next week.
