Strong performances and sizable recoveries enabled our Division 1 side to get past a strong Lobethal team.  The win moved our team into third place on the ladder.
Division 2 met the undefeated Lobethal side and although Scott Brook’s team had a solid win and Bill Robertson’s rink fought it our to the finish Michael Wheal’s rink were well below par.
Division 3, ravaged by missing players, had to forfeit but played social bowls with their opposition and based on the results would have given a strong account of themselves have we been able to field a strong side.

We need all players available to ensure this side presents our club with a competitive team.  Having seen the quality of other teams in this division it has a very high standard and should not be underestimated.
