Division Two on the move

Division two took another step in consolidating its position in the four with a strong win against third placed Woodside.  Ray Rattray’s “Dream team” took no prisoners winning by a whopping 29 shots.  Bill Robertson and Michael Wheal’s rinks had a fight on their hands all day and both went down by a solitary shot.    Next week the team meets bottom ranked Meadows at Meadows and should continue their way into the finals.

Division one put up a great fight against top side Woodside and lost by eight shots.  Half way through the day it looked like Woodside would run away with the win but to our team fought back to get close to their opposition rinks scores.  Malcolm Keller’s rink had a fighting win by 6 shots.

Division three had a tussle with Woodside at Woodside but they were a little too strong.  Jim Howe had a great win with new members Rob Burton and Martin Corner plus we welcomed David Grego (Pam’s hubby) to our team. Well done guys!!
