Division two finished the minor round with a solid win over third placed Mt Barker by 12 shots.  All rinks were up albeit Con Harmer leaving it to the last end with a three to get home by one shot.  Bill Robertson and Kevin Spalding’s rinks got in front by afternoon tea and were never headed after that.  To Bill Robertson’s rink the highlight of the day was Jennie Benham’s leading with consistent bowls close to the jack putting early pressure on the opposition all day.

The team lost three games by one point throughout the season which proved costly in the end and finished in sixth position.

Division one played second side Lobethal and went down by 17 shots. All rinks went down but not without a fight with Christine Keller’s rink getting to within 2 shots at the end.  The team finished in fourth place and will meet Woodside in the semi finals next week.  Best of luck to the team.
