Our Division 2 team won a hard fought match against Oakbank.  The lead changed hands with skippers Con Harmer and Ron Batemans’ rinks in trouble early whilst Bill Robertson’s rink held a handy lead by afternoon tea.  Con and Ron’s rinks were neck and neck with their Oakbank opponents throughout the closing ends.  Bill’s rink fought off a late challenge to get home by a solitary shot.  Con won by 3 shots and Ron finished with a draw.

Division 1 lost their match to Lobethal with Bill Fairley’s rink the only winner by 4 shots.  Leon Zanders’s rink went down by 6 shots and Malcolm Keller’s rink by 19 shots.
