Our Division 4 team overcame a gritty Lobethal winning 50 – 30 at Mt Barker.  Tom Hennessey’s rink of Ken Wilson, Brian Buckingham and Allen McMahon got home by two shots over Brian Tugwell after being down 0-10 early.

Ron Bateman, with Jennie Benham, David Davis and Barbara Shields got away early and overcame his nemesis Mary Matthews by a massive 18 shots.

The win gave the team a shot at “back to back to back” premierships.  Congratulations and best of luck next week.  Let’s get behind the team next week!!

Our Division 1 team gave their all but unfortunately went down to Mt Barker by 6 shots, 77 – 83.  The lead changed hands many times throughout the day with Christine Keller’s rink finishing with a draw (21 all) whilst Malcolm Keller (23-26)and Phil Nagel’s (33-36) rinks going down by 3 shots each.  Well done on reaching the finals.
