On a cold, windy afternoon our teams met arch rivals Mt Barker at home and came away with mixed results.  Division 1 had a strong win with two rinks, Bob Edwards and Chris Button winning and Malcolm Keller’s rink coming very close.

It didn’t look good for Chris Button’s rink trailing 0-10 after four ends but the team settled down, brilliantly led by Jamie Burt, to snatch the lead on the 18th end and held on to win 20-18.  Bob Edward’s rink was always in commend and Malcolm Keller’s rink battled all day with only a few shots separating the teams all afternoon.

Division 2 had to make last minute changes due to health conditions and against a very strong Mt Barker team battled hard with Ron Bateman’s rink winning by 8 shots the main contributor.
