Val and Geoff Deeble fought out the Rink of the Week title this week with wins of 38-13 (+25) and 33-7 (+26) respectively.  With the outcome not known until the Div 1 team returned from Lenswood (great first win), Val and her team of Leo Lambert, Chris Button and Shelly Howe thought they were in a good position of winning.  Shelly was even heard to encourage her teammates with a comment “Come on I want to win the Rink of the Week voucher”.

But alas – Geoff had upstaged her with a 26 shot win and covered Val’s win of 25 shots. Geoff’s team included Sue Hutchinson, Chris Rowe and Phil Nagel.

Well done to both rinks.
