Bowls SA Women’s State Event Player of the Year 2017 -18

Christine Keller was awarded Women’s State Event Player of the Year on 18 May at last Friday night’s Bowls SA Awards Night, held at the Morphettville Racecourse.  The other nominations in this category were Cassandra Harvey of Adelaide BC, Lainey McGorman and Marie Roberts of Payneham BC.

Delighted to be one of four finalists, Christine was surprised and excited to win this prestigious award which is calculated on results achieved in State Events during the season.  In Christine’s case she and partner Alex Reynolds of Woodside Bowling Club won the State Women’s Pairs title.  Additionally, Christine was a semi-finalist in the Women’s State Singles and finished in the last 16 of the State Mixed Pairs with Malcolm.

This award caps off a highly successful season including State, Regional, Association and Club events.

The Club congratulates Christine on her Award and wishes her and Malcolm well in their move to Hawthorn.
