Both teams had close call wins with the Division one side getting home by 6 shots and the Division 2 side finally winning after the cards showed that they had won by one shot.  Malcolm Keller’s rink covered Phil Nagel and Bob Edwards’ rinks who were competitive but just came up a little short.

Jim Howe and Ron Batemans’ rinks were struggling prior to afternoon tea, but whatever they had did the trick and improved to have good wins.  Bill Robertson’s rink had a close battle all day but were not able to bridge the gap of 6 and 5 shots respectively throughout the day.

Division one has consolidated its position in fourth spot, equal with five wins apiece together with Woodside and two wins ahead of Uraidla.  Next week they take on sixth placed Lobethal followed by top placed Mt Barker.

Division two sits in sixth spot, equal with five wins together with Gumeracha and Lobethal.  Next week they meet top placed Mt Pleasant followed by third placed Lenswood.
