Brooks brilliant fightback

Young Division 2 skipper, Scott Brooks and his rink staged a brilliant fightback to win by 2 shots.  Trailing 1-17 early with the scores 6- 21 by afternoon tea, the rink lead 28 -22 with one end to play.   Great effort from Scott, Con, Jim and Val.  Skippers, Michael Wheal and Bill Robertson continued on their winning ways with wins of 18 and 10 shots respectively.

Division 1 team had its first loss by a close 2 shots.  Rinks were hard fought with Phil Nagel winning by 8 shots, Bill Fairley drawing and unfortunately Christine Keller going down by 10 shots.

Division 4 had a solid win over Meadows at Meadows with Ron Bateman’s rink wining by 24 shots and Allen McMahon’s by 12 shots.
