Last Monday & Tuesday (Dec 13& 14 2021), club members spent the best part of two days upgrading our bowls shelters in preparation to both being clad with colorbond steel early in January 2022.   This entailed removing all the old painted steel, all the shadecloth, and aligning all the pipe to make the shelters look acceptable.  Also adding caps to the end of all the uprights.  Where the sections required more pipe, we utilised all the pipe from the lower green shelters and where necessary, welded extensions on compliments to Kev Waterson.

The shadecloth was then re-attached to ensure UV coverage until the steel cladding is installed.  The only activity now required is to add 104 anchor bolts to the bases of every upright.
